Replicas, the "harness-agnostic" cloud coding agent platform, announced a $4M seed round on October 13 backed by Y Combinator, Flex Capital, FoundersCoop, Paul Graham, and Zeno Rocha. To celebrate, founder Connor Loi's launch post grants $300 in free credits to everyone who signs up.
What Replicas does (verified on the official site)
- Runs Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and OpenCode in the cloud - each agent in its own environment
- Every task gets an isolated Linux VM in the cloud, sharing nothing with other agents
- Full computer use: agents drive a real desktop and browser, and return screenshots and screen recordings of their work
- Agents install dependencies, run services, and verify their own work; warm environments preinstall dependencies, MCPs, skills, and variables
- Start agents from Linear, Slack, GitHub, GitLab, or the web dashboard; results come back as a pull request, a reply, or a recording
- A 14-day free trial with no card required is the standing offer
How to get the credits
- Go to replicas.dev
- Sign up (the offer was posted by the founder on the launch date)
- Connect your GitHub repo and send your first task
⚠️ Timing caveat
The founder's post says "everyone who signs up today gets $300" - it was published October 13, 2026. If you're reading this later, the $300 grant may or may not still apply; the signup itself stays free and the 14-day no-card trial is always available. Worth trying promptly if you want the credits.
