This list names providers that advertise free AI and are dishonest by design: a bait-and-switch, an advertised free tier that is never delivered, or a sign-up that exists to take payment details or accounts. It has one entry today.
An entry is published only after a person checked the provider by hand and wrote down why, with evidence links where they exist and the date of the check. Reports from readers go to a private queue first; nothing a reader submits appears here until an editor has confirmed it and written the entry in their own words.
Being on this list is different from being expired. An expired offer was real and ended; its page redirects to alternatives. A scam-list entry warns you away from a provider, and any catalog offer it had is flagged with a warning on its page.

- What gets a provider on the scam list?
- A hand check that shows the provider misleads users on purpose, such as a bait-and-switch or a free tier that is advertised but never delivered. Offers that merely changed terms or ended are not scams.
- How do I report a provider?
- Use the "Report a provider" form on this page with the provider name, site, what happened and an evidence link. Each address can send three reports per hour; we keep only a hashed form of the IP and browser for triage, and your email (optional) is never published.
- How is this different from an expired offer?
- Expired means a genuine offer ended and its page now points to alternatives. A scam-list entry means we found the provider deceptive; its catalog offers are flagged and carry a warning.
- Can an entry be removed?
- Yes. Each entry shows the date it was checked; providers can change. Write to us with evidence and we re-check it.
