Overview

Alibaba Cloud offers new users free trials across 80+ products covering compute, storage, networking, databases, security, big data, and AI. The current program is built from product-level free tiers rather than a single lump-sum credit.

What You Get

  • ECS (Elastic Compute Service): USD 90 in free credits valid for 3 months, covering many instance specifications and multi-instance trials.
  • Model Studio: 70+ million free tokens - each eligible model carries its own quota, typically 1,000,000 tokens, valid for 90 days in the Singapore region. Free quota covers real-time inference only; batch calls, fine-tuning, model deployment, and context cache are excluded.
  • 80+ products free for up to 12 months, including database, storage, networking, and security services.
  • Always Free products with no expiry and limited capacity, such as Edge Security Acceleration and Data Security Center.

Eligibility

  • New accounts only; if you hold multiple accounts, only one may participate.
  • A payment method must be added to start a free trial - credit card, debit card, or PayTM. PayPal alone is not accepted.
  • The Enterprise Free Tier requires Company Real Name Registration verification; individual accounts use the Individual Free Tier.
  • Usage beyond a free quota is billed pay-as-you-go, so enable the Model Studio "Free Quota Only" toggle to stop calls once the quota is exhausted.
  • Quotas do not accumulate and are shared between the account and its RAM users.
