Daytona Startup Program

Overview

The Daytona Startup Program provides early-stage companies and AI builders with up to $100,000 in platform credits to develop, execute, and scale applications relying on AI code execution. Eligible applicants receive $10,000 in platform credits immediately upon onboarding, with eligibility to expand up to $100,000 as compute demands scale.

What Daytona Offers

Daytona delivers secure, isolated sandbox environments and workspace infrastructure tailored specifically for autonomous coding agents, code interpreters, and runtime execution of untrusted, AI-generated code.

• Upfront Funding: $10,000 in initial credits deposited directly to your account upon review.
• Tiered Expansion: Scalable access to up to $100,000 in total platform usage credits.
• Flexible Infrastructure Options: Deploy via Daytona's Fully Managed PaaS, Bring Your Own Cloud (BYOC), or On-Premises environments.
• Custom Compute Profiles: Support for CPU-only, GPU, TPU, and LPU hardware architectures depending on model execution needs.

Primary Use Cases

• Coding Agents & Runtimes: Safe runtime environments for autonomous development tools (e.g., OpenHands, SWE-bench evaluators).
• Code Interpreters & Sandboxes: Sandboxed, multi-tenant code execution engines for LLM applications.
• AI Evaluations & Benchmarking: Automated test suites and agent verification environments.
• Data Analysis & Computer Use: Ephemeral virtual machines for autonomous browsing, data analysis, and agent GUI interaction.
• Fine-Tuning & Training: Specialized compute configurations for agent optimization and continuous learning loops.

Eligibility & How to Apply

The program accommodates both bootstrapped teams and venture-backed startups across accelerators and funds (such as Y Combinator, a16z, Techstars, Sequoia, and 500 Global).

To claim the credits, submit an application via the Daytona Startup Form providing:

• Startup name, website, primary location, and founding date.
• Pitch deck link or product overview.
• Funding stage (from bootstrapped to institutional rounds).
• Intended architecture and compute requirements (CPU/GPU, PaaS/BYOC).
