Recraft Free Plan

Overview

Recraft is an AI design platform for raster image and vector generation. Its Free plan costs $0, requires no credit card, and gives every account a limited daily credit allowance that resets every 24 hours; paid subscriptions reset monthly instead. Credits power Recraft Studio's image and vector generation and editing tools.

Free Tier Quotas & Limits

• 3 generations per style per day.
• Up to 3 image uploads per day.
• Up to 2 images per generation.
• No parallel generation, and only Recraft models are available on Free. External models such as Nano Banana, Seedream, Flux and GPT Image require a paid plan.
• Generated images are public in the community gallery and remain the property of Recraft; they are not licensed for commercial use.
• Credit top-ups are available only on paid plans (Basic starts at $10/month, billed annually at $120).
• Referral program: an invitee who signs up on desktop gets 200 credits, and the referrer gets 200 credits once that invitee generates their first image, capped at 4,000 credits (20 referrals).

API Access

The Free plan covers Recraft Studio only. API access is billed separately through prepaid API Units (USD $1.00 = 1,000 API units), which do not expire and are non-refundable. Free-plan credits cannot be spent on API calls.

How to Get Started

1. Create an account at recraft.ai with Google, Apple or email. No credit card is required.
2. Open Recraft Studio; the daily free credits are already available.
3. Generate images or vectors within the daily per-style and upload caps.
4. Optionally share your referral link from the profile menu to earn extra credits.
