Overview

Snowflake for Startups helps early-stage companies build, grow, and scale on the Snowflake AI Data Cloud. The program combines free usage, technical expertise, and go-to-market guidance. Snowflake does not publish a specific credit dollar amount for the startup program.

Program Credits & Benefits

• Startup Package: eligible startups receive free usage on their first contract.
• Technical expertise: guidance for teams building data-centric and AI products.
• Go-to-market guidance and access to the startup ecosystem, including NYSE-backed visibility.
• AI tooling: access to out-of-the-box AI tools, leading LLMs, and fine-tuned ML models.

Startup Accelerator

A separate, selective virtual program for startups building customer-facing applications on the AI Data Cloud. Benefits include:

• Access to Snowflake credits to build, test, and launch applications.
• Dedicated Partner Engineers supporting development from design to launch.
• Guaranteed co-marketing, access to Snowflake sales teams, and VC Demo Days.
• Accelerator length: rolling admission, maximum 6 months, with many graduating in under 3 months.

Eligibility

• Free usage applies to "eligible startups"; the page does not define exact criteria.
• Best fit: startups where data is a core product component, leveraging AI/ML, or handling large or complex datasets.
• The Startup Accelerator targets startups developing customer-facing applications on top of the AI Data Cloud.

2. For the Accelerator, complete its application form; a Snowflake team member follows up to discuss fit.
