Apmix Opens a Shared 5B-Token GPT-6 Luna Event

Apmix will open a community event with a shared pool of 5 billion weighted tokens for its gpt-6-luna-free model. The event begins on September 25, 2026 at 17:00 UTC and remains open until the pool is exhausted.

Key details:

• Any Apmix account can join, including accounts on no plan, Starter, Pro, or Max
• Sign in, create an API key, then use the model ID gpt-6-luna-free after the event opens
• The model appears in GET /v1/models while the event is active
• OpenAI-compatible clients use https://api.apmix.ai/v1; Anthropic-compatible clients use https://api.apmix.ai
• Event usage comes from the shared pool and does not reduce the account's plan or free allowance
• The standard rate limit is 60 requests per minute, or 120 requests per minute on Max
• Once the pool is spent, requests return event_ended; Apmix may also close or replace the event early
