Akamai Cloud $100 Free Credit

Overview

Akamai Cloud, the platform that includes the former Linode services, offers new customers a US$100 credit on signup. The credit is applied to the new account and covers most cloud services for the duration of the trial period.

Free Credit Details

• US$100 credit applied to a new account.
• Credit applies to Compute plans, as well as Object Storage, Block Storage and NodeBalancers.
• GPU plans are excluded from the promotion.
• A valid payment method is required to confirm identity, but the account is not charged during the trial; a temporary pre-authorization may be sent and is immediately released.
• Available only to new customers who have not previously signed up for a free trial.
• Unused service credits expire automatically, and usage beyond the credit is billed at standard rates.

How to Get Started

1. Open akamai.com/lp/free-credit-100 and choose Sign Up.
2. Register with Google, GitHub, or an email address and complete your profile.
3. Add a valid payment method for identity verification (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, PayPal or Google Pay).
4. Deploy resources from the Cloud Manager at cloud.linode.com.

Notes

The official offer page does not publish a fixed number of days for the trial length; promotion rules state that promo codes expire after one year and that credit amounts are granted at Akamai's discretion.
