DeepInfra DeepStart 1 Billion Free Inference Tokens

Overview

DeepInfra runs DeepStart, a startup program that awards accepted early-stage companies 1,000,000,000 free inference tokens. DeepInfra states the grant is valued at DeepSeek V3.1 prices and is delivered through the same serverless, OpenAI-compatible inference API used by paying customers.

What You Get

• 1,000,000,000 free inference tokens on acceptance into the program.
• Access to DeepInfra's model catalog, which includes DeepSeek, Llama, Qwen, Mistral, Kimi, GLM and Nemotron text models, plus image, embedding, speech-to-text and text-to-speech endpoints.
• OpenAI-compatible base URL: https://api.deepinfra.com/v1/openai.
• Tokens are consumed against normal per-token inference pricing, so the effective dollar value depends on which models the startup calls.

Eligibility

DeepInfra lists two qualifying conditions for DeepStart:

• Have raised between $250,000 and $10,000,000 USD.
• Founded within the last 2 years.

DeepInfra does not publish a funding-stage restriction beyond those two figures, and it does not state how long the token grant remains valid after approval.

4. DeepInfra reviews the application and contacts applicants by email.

Note that DeepInfra's standard self-serve API is prepaid: the pricing page states "You have to add a card or pre-pay or you won't be able to use our services". The DeepStart token grant is the documented free allocation for startups; DeepInfra does not publish a free signup credit or recurring monthly credit on its pricing, signup or documentation pages.
