Overview
Mistral AI provides a permanent Free plan tailored for developers, builders, and everyday users who want to explore frontier open-weight and proprietary models without financial commitment. The plan combines interactive chat and agentic workflows through Mistral Vibe and hands-on model evaluation via Mistral Studio. Studio Free mode includes rate-limited API access with no card, but monthly API credits are no longer part of the Free plan.

- Model Training Data Opt-Out: Strict privacy toggles allowing users to opt out of having their data used for model training.
Limitations
- No API Credits on Free: Monthly API credits now start on the Pro plan ($25.5/month) or the education plan ($15/month).
- Usage Limits: Capped message throughput, web search volume, and coding session duration relative to paid Pro and Team plans.
- Document Storage: Baseline library and document upload limits (up to 15GB-30GB available on paid tiers).
- Support Level: Standard access to the self-serve Help Center and documentation.
