Render Startup Program

Overview

Render is a cloud application platform, and Render for Startups provides tiered credits based on your funding stage and investors. Startups can apply directly for the Founder tier or through a registered accelerator or VC partner for the Build, Scale, and AI tiers.

Program Credits & Benefits

• Founder: $500 in startup credits. Requires seed funding of at least $25,000, less than 5 years in operation, and less than $100M raised. This offer is available to all qualified startups.
• Build: $2,500 in credits for startups from a partner, or $5,000 for startups from select partners. Requires applying through an enrolled partner.
• Scale: $10,000 for startups with less than $1M in funding, or $25,000 for startups with $1M or more. Requires funding from an enrolled top-tier VC.
• AI: $100,000 in startup credits for AI-native, data-heavy, or agent/LLM-driven products with at least $2.5M in funding from an enrolled top-tier VC, plus eligibility for an AI case study and co-marketing.
• All credits are valid for 1 year from the time of approval.
• Partner perks include Auth0 free for one year, $5,000 in Sentry credits, 20% off the first year of Vanta, 50% off Mintlify Pro for 6 months, and $1,500 in Deel credits.

Eligibility

Common requirements across tiers are less than 5 years in operation and less than $100M raised. The Founder tier needs at least $25K in seed funding. The Build, Scale, and AI tiers require applying through a registered accelerator or VC partner, with higher tiers requiring funding from a top-tier VC in Render's network.

How to Apply

1. Create your Render account and instance.
2. Complete the short application at render.com/startup-application and include your instance.
3. For partner tiers, obtain the referral link from your accelerator or VC.
4. Once approved, Render applies the credits and provides guided kickoff instructions.
