Huawei Cloud Free Packages for New Users

Overview

Huawei Cloud runs a free-trial program on its international site combining always-free services with limited-time "free packages" for new and new-enterprise users. The live product list is published on the Free Packages page. Each product's free trial is available once, first come, first served.

Free Packages

Always free (free of charge, all users): Auto Scaling, Domain Name Service, Anti-DDoS, Identity and Access Management, Cloud Trace Service, AOM 1.0, SoftWare Repository for Container, Resource Formation Service, Server Migration Service, and Cloud Eye.

Limited-time free packages for new users include:

• Flexus L Instance — 2 vCPUs, 4 GiB RAM, 80 GiB system disk, 4,096 GB data package, 30 Mbit/s, 1 month (CN-Hong Kong, AP-Singapore, TR-Istanbul).
• General computing S6 ECS — 1 vCPU, 2 GiB RAM, 40 GB high-I/O disk, 1 Mbit/s Linux, 8,760 hours.
• General computing S7n ECS — 1 vCPU, 2 GiB RAM, 1,500 hours.
• Elastic IP — dynamic BGP, 20 GB/month, 1 Mbit/s, 8,760 hours.
• Elastic Volume Service — 40 GB high-I/O, 8,760 hours.
• RDS for MySQL / RDS for PostgreSQL — 2 vCPUs, 4 GB RAM, 40 GiB, 1,500 hours.
• Document Database Service — 1,500 hours. DCS for Redis — 256 MB, 2 months.
• Object Storage Service (Single-AZ) — 100 GB for 12 months.
• Cloud Backup and Recovery — 40 GB, 1,500 hours. Passport OCR and Myanmar ID Card OCR — 10,000 API calls each.

A separate, larger set of packages is reserved for new enterprise accounts. Regions include CN-Hong Kong, AP-Singapore, AP-Bangkok, ME-Riyadh, TR-Istanbul, AF-Johannesburg, and Latin America.

How to Get Started

Register a HUAWEI ID, verify email and phone, enable Huawei Cloud services, then open the Free Packages page and click Try Now on a package. Claimed packages appear under Billing & Costs → Free Packages.
