OVHcloud AI Endpoints Free Tier

Overview

OVHcloud AI Endpoints is a serverless API for open-source AI models hosted in OVHcloud's European data centres. New customers can use the Public Cloud Free Trial, which OVHcloud advertises as US$200 of free credit when you launch your first Public Cloud project. The voucher is valid for one month, and a set of models is free with no time limit.

Free Tier Quotas & Limits

• Public Cloud Free Trial voucher: US$200, valid one month once activated, usable on standard Public Cloud rates. It requires a saved payment method and a first Public Cloud project; it excludes other free offers and beta services and is limited to one voucher per legal person.
• Permanently free models, listed as "Free" in the AI Endpoints catalogue:
  • Stable Diffusion XL Base 1.0 (image generation)
  • NVIDIA Riva TTS in en-US, de-DE, it-IT and es-ES (text-to-speech)
  • Qwen3Guard-Gen-8B and Qwen3Guard-Gen-0.6B (content moderation, Beta)
• Rate limits are enforced per IP, per minute, per model in the anonymous playground and per project, per minute, per model with an API key.
• Paid models are billed per million tokens; for example gpt-oss-120b is listed at EUR 0.08 input / EUR 0.40 output, and whisper-large-v3 at EUR 0.00004083 per second.

How to Get Started

1. Test any model free in the AI Endpoints sandbox without an account.
2. Create an OVHcloud account and a first Public Cloud project, then activate the free-trial voucher and save a payment method.
3. Generate an API key in the OVHcloud Manager and call the endpoints; many are OpenAI-compatible.

Eligibility

Data is processed in EU data centres and OVHcloud states it is never stored or used for model training. The free-trial voucher is available to customers who have not previously created a Public Cloud project.
