What's free from Hume AI
Hume AI Free Tier · $20
New Hume accounts get $20 in credits and a standing free tier: 10,000 characters of Octave TTS (~10 minutes) and 5 minutes of EVI speech-to-speech per month, with unlimited voice cloning and no plan fee.
The catch: Monthly free usage is modest: 10,000 characters (~10 minutes of TTS) and 5 minutes of EVI, capped at 15 RPM with 1 concurrent connection; paid overage applies beyond that.

- Voice cloning is listed as unlimited (create and use) on the free plan
- Extra usage is charged each time you accrue $44 of usage once paid usage begins
