Overview

The OVHcloud Startup Program provides free cloud vouchers to early-stage companies building on OVHcloud infrastructure. OVHcloud states the program is "completely free for the companies it supports": no equity, no fees and no exclusivity.

Free Tier Quotas & Limits

  • Start level: EUR 10,000 of free cloud credits plus 6 hours of one-on-one time with an engineer.
  • Scale level: up to EUR 100,000 of free cloud credits plus up to 20 hours of one-on-one engineering time.
  • Duration: 12 months at either level, starting once the contracts are signed. Any remaining Startup Program vouchers are invalid after the program ends.
  • Enablers: partner organisations such as VCs and accelerators can extend access to their portfolio companies at the same credit levels.

Eligibility

  • Applicants need at least a proof of concept or MVP that can be deployed on OVHcloud, and should need cloud infrastructure soon.
  • The Scale level targets "selected series-A (and beyond) funded startups and scaleups"; a successful fundraising round strengthens an application.
  • Excluded: projects not linked to a professional startup or activity (for example NGOs and associations), companies that already took part in the program, and activities such as cryptocurrency mining, Black Hat SEO, traffic exchange bots and video game bots. Resellers and integrators are steered to the OVHcloud Partner Program.
  • OVHcloud does not publish company age, headcount or revenue thresholds.

What the Credits Cover

Vouchers "are only redeemable for Public Cloud and Hosted Private Cloud solutions", which includes compute, storage, networking, Managed Kubernetes, Managed Databases, AI Training, AI Deploy and AI Notebooks. GPU instances are partially eligible: OVHcloud states that "for GPU instances, only V100, V100S and RTX5000 are eligible". Bare Metal Cloud and Web Cloud products cannot be paid with vouchers.

How to Get Started

Apply through the Apply button on the program homepage, using the country site that matches your business address. OVHcloud responds within 7 days, and vouchers are issued within 48 hours of signing the contract.
