Yandex Cloud Startup Credits

Overview

Yandex Cloud runs a startup program that awards platform credits of up to $20,000. The grant size depends on the product's stage, assessed with the TAIL scale and technology readiness levels.

Free Tier Quotas & Limits

• $5,000 in credits over 6 months for small teams and early-stage products (TRL 1-7: concept through demonstration in an operating environment).
• $20,000 in credits over 12 months for experienced teams and products at the scaling stage (TRL 8-9: technology ready or implemented).
• Amounts exclude VAT.
• Spend split for both tiers: one quarter of the grant may be used for Yandex Compute Cloud, Virtual Private Cloud, Object Storage, Network Load Balancer, Marketplace, Monitoring, DataSphere, SpeechKit, Translate, Vision and Foundation Models; the remaining three quarters must go to other Yandex Cloud services.
• Yandex Cloud Interconnect is excluded from grant spending.

How to Get Started

1. Open the program page and select "Apply for credits".
2. Submit the application form describing your team, product stage and intended workload.
3. A Yandex Cloud expert contacts applicants the next business day to discuss details.
4. Architects design a tailored solution, after which you test and review results before deciding whether to continue.

Eligibility

The page describes the program around team and product stage only, with the smaller grant for early-stage products and the larger grant for scaling-stage products. Applications are reviewed by Yandex Cloud experts; a Yandex ID and a billing account are required to consume the grant.
