Datadog for Startups

Overview

Datadog for Startups offers a year of free access to Datadog's platform, worth up to $100,000 in credits, for startups that meet its referral requirements.

Program Credits & Benefits

• Credits: Up to $100,000 in credits covering the first year of Datadog Pro, with no watered-down tiers and no hidden limits.
• Platform access: Front- and back-end observability and security modules, all generally available products including newly GA'd ones, and Preview products if space permits.
• Integrations: AI-native tooling including Anthropic, Cursor, OpenAI, Pinecone, Qdrant, Vercel, and Weaviate.
• Support: An optional Technical Engagement Manager for onboarding, documentation and learning resources, and a customer success representative assigned after several months.

Eligibility

All three requirements apply: the company must be Series A or earlier, must be referred through one of Datadog's official referral partners (VCs, hyperscaler, and vendor startup programs), and must be new to Datadog, meaning not a current or prior customer and no prior receipt of DDFS credits. Direct applications are not accepted.

How to Apply

1. Obtain a referral from an official Datadog for Startups partner.
2. Submit the application form on the program page.
3. Start a Datadog trial while the application is reviewed; approval typically takes 3 to 5 business days.
4. Confirm acceptance within 30 days to activate credits, or the acceptance expires and you must reapply.
5. Choose your region at account creation, since data cannot be migrated between regions. Accounts inactive for three months are warned and then removed from the program.
