Neon Startup Program

Overview

Neon's startup program, now delivered as part of the Databricks Startup Program, offers credits for Neon and Databricks. Qualifying startups can receive up to $200K in credits, with the amount depending on stage and funding. Credits are valid for 12 months from the date of acceptance, and there is no commitment to stay afterward.

Program Credits & Benefits

• Self-funded tier: up to $1,000 in Neon credits for early-stage, self-funded startups with less than $1M in funding and an early-stage product or MVP; includes onboarding support from the Neon product team and early access to new Neon features
• Venture-backed tier: up to $200K in Neon and Databricks credits for VC-backed startups with at least $1M in funding or participants in recognized accelerators such as Y Combinator; adds speaking slots at Neon developer events plus co-marketing and visibility with Neon
• Credit scope: credits cover both Neon and Databricks
• Expiry: credits are valid for 12 months from acceptance; once they run out or expire, the account continues on the selected plan with normal billing and no commitment

Eligibility

Early-stage startups; the tier depends on funding stage and accelerator participation. Existing Neon or Databricks users may apply — approved credits are added to the current account with no new account or migration required.

How to Apply

1. Apply through the form on neon.com/startups or via the Databricks startup program application link.
2. Applications are typically reviewed within a few business days; approval is followed by credits applied to the account.
3. Applying accepts the Databricks Terms of Use and acknowledges the Databricks Privacy Notice.
